Interview with Travis

JM: How long was your sentencing for?
Travis: I was sentenced to two and a half years with eighteen months to serve and one year concurrent. I actually spent sixteen months in the correctional facility.

JM: Did you spend time in a holding cell after your sentencing? If so, what was that like? If you didn't where did they they take you instead?
Travis: After being sentenced I had to return to the holding cell at the Orleans District Courthouse. It was terrible to not be able to contact any of my loved ones or employers. The other inmates in the cell with me (there were two) were empathetic.
