Interview with Sam

JM: How long was your sentencing for?
Sam: I was sentenced for 9 months.

JM: Did you spend time in a holding cell after your sentencing? If so, what was that like? If you didn't where did they they take you instead?
Sam: I sat in a holdig cell for 26 hours when I was first arrested. it was cold and smelly. the toilet didn't work and there were 5 or 6 people in there with me all going without flushing...it was pretty inhuman. there was no place to sit so you either stood the whole time ot sat on the cold concrete floor.
