Interview with Alison
JM: How many different blocks were there?
Alison: I don't know how many total but only 1 was female
JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they?
Alison: Only letters I think. Pod a pod b pod c
JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks?
Alison: I only saw the women's pod then the segregated cells. And the
segregated was men's. I know this because the inmate
strapped to a stool wriggled til he could shake his penis at me
when I peered out window
JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks?
Alison: None of the toilets worked every time. But segregation officer
let me keep a mop & am bucketIn reality the inmates treated
me with more care & respect
than anyone except the 2 judges. None of them called me
retarded Be invisible yet indispensable. I'm really not sure
what these
min word limitations are all about however I make efforts to be
as clear and honest as we'll. god bless please understand I'm
not being facetious.
