Visitor Policy

Interview with Ricky

JM: How often could you receive visitors?
Ricky: Yes, but you had to put them on your visitor list, and they had to be approved first.

JM: Was the check-in process lengthy for those who came to see you?
Ricky: Yes- they would have to wait for about a half hour to 45 minutes, then the were made to fill out a Ton Of paperwork and were put through a barrage of searches.

JM: What was the visiting environment like?
Ricky: It was very uncomfortable. You either had 2 stools with a phone on either side between a window, it a stainless steel table with cold benches and no contact allowed between visitor and inmate. They were also heavily monitored by guards. It was an uncomfortable environment to be seen in.
