Interview with Scott and Justice

JM: Tell us about the pre-sentencing process:
Scott: After I lost the trial I was held in DC jail for 4 weeks pending sentencing. My lawyer tryed to have me released pending sentencing but the judge refused.
Justice: aweful

JM: Did you have police stop by your house for questioning? If not please give us details on how you came to be arrested.
Scott: No. I had an ongoing case which I lost and I was arrested after I howing up in court for the verdict.
Justice: no

JM: What was court like? Please give as many details as you recall.
Scott: Court is nerve racking, cold, and quiet. Court always makes me nervous and I become uneasy and sweat a lot.
Justice: set up to traumatize

JM: What were your original charges? What did you end up being convicted of?
Scott: My original charges were rape, and two separate charges of assault. I was convicted of sexual abuse, assault and threats to bodily harm.
Justice: trumped up
