JM: Did you get off early based on good behavior?
Earl: No, I had not been sentenced while I was locked up,
so I could not get good time.
JM: What is the most time off you can receive for good behavior?
Earl: I think in the county it is fifteen days for every
month.
JM: What types of actions do you need to avoid in order to get time off? Did you ever witness somebody losing time off for good behavior?
Earl: You need to avoid any type of disciplinary
infractions, such as fighting, showing any type of
disrespect to the guards, gambling, abusing
medications, or being caught with any type of
contraband. I witnessed people losing time for these
infractions almost everyday.
