Meals

Interview with Luke

JM: How many meals did you get per day?
Luke: Everyday we were served three meals

JM: How would you rate the food? Please give details of why.
Luke: I would rate the food as nutritious but the bare minimum. Quality was not the greatest but like I said before it could be worse.Just seemed like they really skimp on the quality of the food but like I said we are there to be punished. I think better quality meats and fruits would make it better

JM: Did you have any favorite/least favorite meals?
Luke: My favorite was probably the breakfast or noon meals. I really liked the casseroles but mainly just happy to have food

JM: Were there any other snacks offered outside of meals? What was commissary like and how expensive was it?
Luke: No snack were offered unless you were diabetic or worked in trustee unit.commisary was good but I have seen much better programs in other jails.I feel commissary is not needed. We are in jail not candy land.
