Interview with Calvin
JM: Did you always have access to necessary medications?
Calvin: Yes. You could fill out a slip to see the doctor
or the nurse and tell them what was wrong. If
they thought you needed something they would get
it to you.
JM: How did you get your medications?
Calvin: They had pill call three times a day where they
would call your name and you'd go up to the
counter and get your meds.
JM: What types of punishments were incurred for abuse of drugs? Did you ever witness this?
Calvin: There was a lot of drugs in there but they would
never catch anybody doing it. If they did you'd
get 30 days in the hole.
