Medications

Interview with Jared, Bree, George, Sherry and Timothy

JM: Did you always have access to necessary medications?
Jared: yes
Bree: no they would give you a substitute
George: If it was an emergency they would help.there was always a nurse on call.
Sherry: No a nurse comes around to give you your meds.
Timothy: I didn't take any medications.

JM: How did you get your medications?
Jared: it got brought around 3 times aday
Bree: a nurse with a cart would come 2 times a day once in morning and once at night thats about it
George: I personally didn't require any but if i did the nurse would come once a day and pass out medications.
Sherry: A nurse brings them to the dorm for required doses and times. however if they are late you can be the one to suffer cause they really don't care.
Timothy: I didn't take any, but the inmates i seen that did a nurse would come around and pass the meds out and certain times.

JM: What types of punishments were incurred for abuse of drugs? Did you ever witness this?
Jared: lock up, no visits
Bree: for people that would abuse the rules would catch a new charge and get put into confinement. its not good
George: contraband would be the charge if it happens but i never seen it.I'm sure it goes on but it's so well hidden not even the guards see it.
Sherry: No I did not however the punishment was the hole. however many days they deemed necessary and whatever else they want to take away form you up to and including added charges to your case.
Timothy: You would get a DR and possibly a new charge for bringing in contraband to a jail. I never seen anyone with any drugs.
