JM: Did you have regular access to telephones?
Charles: Somewhat, I would say at least once evert couple
of days.
Lynne: It depends on the day
JM: What types of charges applied for calling people? How much money would you guess the average inmate spends per week on phone calls?
Charles: If calls were accepted on the other end and you
were allowed to call each day, I would easily
say about $40-$50.
Lynne: Every time you called someone it was a charge and of course
you have a shirt time limit.Im gonna say the average inmate
spends 20$ a week
JM: Did you need to buy phone cards to call out?
Charles: No. I did collect calls.
Lynne: No just transfer money to the phone
JM: Did the jail screen your calls?
Charles: I can't say for sure, but I have no doubt.
