Interview with Clayton, Darryl and Kristofer

JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Clayton: well we were allowed to wear all our own civilian clothes. i think they have changed that now
Darryl: I wore a green jump suite and whenI got to D Hall I had clothes shipped to me .
Kristofer: you could only bring in tighty whiteys, socks, sweatpants and sweatshirts. PLAIN, no designs or logos

JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Clayton: there was no set uniform at that time
Darryl: no we did not have a specific uniform . I was not doing time in a penitentiary . I dod see the hardcore ctas in red every now and then .
Kristofer: when you got it, you were only issued 3 button down one peice jumpsuits. after a week you could request more underwer and you get 3 pairs of socks and 3 pairs of underwear

JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Clayton: there were no assigned clothing
Darryl: No not that I am aware . Maybe an extra jump suite so you could wash one in the shower and always have a freshie..
Kristofer: assigned clothes were only the jumpers, and no one wanted them. Everyone wanted the seat shirts and pants, but you had to but those off of commissary

JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Clayton: this does not apply in this case
Darryl: The only woman we saw were counselors .
Kristofer: when we would pass the women going to/coming from court, they wore the same jump suits as we did
