Meals

Interview with Kurt

JM: How many meals did you get per day?
Kurt: We got 3 meals per day.

JM: How would you rate the food? Please give details of why.
Kurt: I would rate the food in mayes county jail a 2 out of 10 because of the starchy foods with a huge lack of flavor. It was always cold and they gave us infant sized portions instead of enough to even hold us over until the next meal. Very poor food.

JM: Did you have any favorite/least favorite meals?
Kurt: I did not like any of the meals. In my opinion all the meals tasted exactly the same. No flavor.

JM: Were there any other snacks offered outside of meals? What was commissary like and how expensive was it?
Kurt: The comissary was very, very, very expensive but they had some good choices of things that you could buy in mays county jail. It was like 5 or 6 bucks for a bottle of suave shampoo. No other snacks were offered.
