JM: Did you have regular access to telephones?
Clint: yes I did have regular access to a telephone
JM: What types of charges applied for calling people? How much money would you guess the average inmate spends per week on phone calls?
Clint: the requirements were you just were not allowed to be on
disciplinary action and I would say most of the American
spend anywhere from 10 to 100 dollars a month talking on the
telephone
JM: Did you need to buy phone cards to call out?
Clint: the jail did not allow phone cards because they considered it
contraband
JM: Did the jail screen your calls?
Clint: yes the jail did monitored and screen our calls as they went
out and came or went out as long as it wasn't from an
attorney
