JM: What else would you want a friend or family member to know if they have a loved one going to this jail? Andres: Call often, send books and money. I imagine it is
not particularly dangerous for most. If you want to
send mail, they have very specific guidelines for
what they can receive. Make sure to check in with
the sheriffs department to ensure you understand
JM: If somebody knows they will be serving time in this jail what is your advice to them? Andres: Keep your head low, do not ever give anyone your
food, DO NOT participate in the economy, it will
only screw you in the long run. Don't buy too much
from the commissary at one time or you will be
robbed. But do buy the good soap, the standard
stuff was ripping my skin open after a week or so.
JM: Please list any other jail or rehab facilities you have been to. Andres: Camp Lejeune Brig, North Carolina.
