Interview with Rob

JM: What types of facilities were available to help pass the time?
Rob: To pass the time, you are given jobs such as cooking, trash crew, dish washer, and a lot of other jobs.there are librarys were u can read books, there are church class, and there is yard time. And you can work out, and play soft ball, and basketball. And hand ball.

JM: Did you have regular access to the entertainment or was competition fierce? Give details.
Rob: There are a lot of politics in prison, we all try for the most part get along. And take turns watching TV and sharing the day room or even using the bath room and showers. Unless you buy your own TV or walk man radio. There is not a lot of entertainment.

JM: Did you have a hard time staying in shape while in jail?
Rob: No all u have to pass the time is working out. I would work out 2 times a day sometimes

JM: How often did you get to go outside? What did you do outside if you were allowed to? If you were not allowed to go outside what could you do for exercise?
Rob: 3 time a day we had yard. I would work out 2 times a day. Or I would run laps or play hand ball. Or just walking.

JM: Did the jail offer church services? If so, what were they like and when were they held?
Rob: Yes but I never whent to them. There were a few people getting together on the yard and praying and reading.
