Meals

Interview with Clayton

JM: How many meals did you get per day?
Clayton: Lunch bags at 6am then dinner tray's at 5:30.

JM: How would you rate the food? Please give details of why.
Clayton: Before they went completely soy substitute for meat. Id give the food a 6 out of 10. The moment they switched to soy. -1000! That pellet shaped Guinea pig feed is not fit for dogs to eat. I worked along side many decent cooks in the kitchen that could not invent a recipe or season this food to make it pallet able.. Just frekin horrific shit they started giving us. I feel for the guys that are stuck with that rubbish right now.

JM: Did you have any favorite/least favorite meals?
Clayton: The spaghetti (prior to the soy switch) My least favorite was hot dog night. They gave you 2 tiny over cooked under stuffed noodle shapped dogs with 2 slices of bread as buns and either a scoop of rice or some kinda potato as a side... Even Gandi would be starving after that meal.

JM: Were there any other snacks offered outside of meals? What was commissary like and how expensive was it?
Clayton: Way over priced!! But damn I loved days (Every Thursday) when we got stor. Usually everybody in the Dorm puts in on a spread and we all eat good that night. Or stay up late on a coffee binge. You know those 10cent top ramen soup packs you get at the store? Yeah you pay 80cents for that. Its outrageous the prices they come up with for the shitty dollar store type inventory they have.
