Meals

Interview with Darcy

JM: How many meals did you get per day?
Darcy: We got three meals a day

JM: How would you rate the food? Please give details of why.
Darcy: Poor, lots of bread and fatty foods, not a very thought out meal. Often slopped on your plate and not handled in a nice manner. Had cake in the morning with cereal, then lunch was smashed lunchemeat sandwiches with tons of mayo and an apple, and dinner was thrown together out a can i am sure.

JM: Did you have any favorite/least favorite meals?
Darcy: Nothing there was good at all. I ate alot of apples so I guess that would have to have been my favorite

JM: Were there any other snacks offered outside of meals? What was commissary like and how expensive was it?
Darcy: Commissary, if you had someone to put money on your books. But it is exspensive after you buy your hygiene and writting supplies not alot left for food. If you had a lot of money on your books you could get candy and chips, cookies and top romains
