JM: Did you have regular access to telephones?
Eric: Yes. Phones were available during
non lights out hours.
JM: What types of charges applied for calling people? How much money would you guess the average inmate spends per week on phone calls?
Eric: I don't know how the charges were
broken down. Average inmate doesn't
5 dollars a week on phone calls.
JM: Did you need to buy phone cards to call out?
Eric: Yes, after the initial call to Amy
local number and to all long
distance numbers.
JM: Did the jail screen your calls?
Eric: Not that I knew of.
