JM: Did you find it difficult to get along with other inmates? Please give examples to explain why you did or didn't.
Louisa: I did not because I know when you go in you keep
your mouth shut. There are a lot of them that
are mouthy. You are in there with anywhere from
65-160 women in one big room. It's like a dorm
area.
JM: What types of things did you have to do to avoid problems or fights with other inmates?
Louisa: You need to keep your mouth shut. You don't
need to go in and try to have this attitude
of "I don't belong here" and you don't need to
go in thinking you are better than anyone else.
JM: Were you able to choose an inmate as your cellmate if you knew one? How often would your cellmate(s) change?
Louisa: not applicable
