Visitor Policy

Interview with Victor

JM: How often could you receive visitors?
Victor: 2 times a week. My daughter's mom would come see me every Tuesday and Saturday.

JM: Was the check-in process lengthy for those who came to see you?
Victor: I don't know for sure since I wasn't a visitor, but from what I was told it was very simple. There was a sign in sheet and a waiting room and then visitors were allowed in.

JM: What was the visiting environment like?
Victor: It was a walk- in closet size room with glass doors everywhere, with four cubicles, with stools, a phone, and a looking glass. The visits were ok, sometimes annoying with very loud inmates having their visits around me. Some would be yelling at their wives, some would be crying with their wives, and some would be boasting to their friends about the experience.
