Interview with Charles and Lynne

JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Charles: Underwear socks pants and shirts, you couldnt wear certain colors or labels though. Sweat clothes were a favorites.
Lynne: Underwear socks soap deodorant bra under shirts sleeping clothes towel washcloth laundry detergent powder fabric softener sheets sheets for the bed a comforter for cold nights

JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Charles: Something similar to the what nurses wear. The top and bottoms were the same color and tennis shoes and white socks. No belts, or insignia on your clothing.
Lynne: It looked like scrubs nursing uniform my own undergarments and a shirt and pants everybody had a different color to identify you as an inmates

JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Charles: Yes, socks, boxers and tees there werent much other stuff you can get.
Lynne: Socks for the winter long johns and wife beater and shorts for summer

JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Charles: I guess, not much though everyone was in scrubs.
Lynne: Yes of course it was different
