Meals

Interview with Ashley

JM: How many meals did you get per day?
Ashley: We were served meals three times a day.

JM: How would you rate the food? Please give details of why.
Ashley: I would have to say the meals re horrible. I was told the meat products were made of soy. The vegetables were the same everyday for 5 months, carrots or carrots and broccoli. They served aweful looking fruit at lunch. They served cool aid at every meal, it was so disgusting.

JM: Did you have any favorite/least favorite meals?
Ashley: The meal i liked the most ws chili and rice and the worst was the chicken stuff over rice, it horrible.

JM: Were there any other snacks offered outside of meals? What was commissary like and how expensive was it?
Ashley: No snacks were offered outside any meal. The commissary was pretty expensive and if you are not getting the help on the outside then you have nothing else to help supplement the meals that are not good to eat.
