Visitor Policy

Interview with Eric

JM: How often could you receive visitors?
Eric: You can get a visitor once a week for 30 minutes through glass with a jail phone while standing (both you and the visitor).

JM: Was the check-in process lengthy for those who came to see you?
Eric: My visitors have waited as long as 2 hours before to visit me. The waits were always unreasonably long. I assume because of only having room for 9 visits at a time.

JM: What was the visiting environment like?
Eric: The visiting environment was not very good. There is a total of 9 visits at once. Three rooms, with three people in each. You stand, as does your visitor, and bend close to the counter because the phones cord isn't long enough to stand all the way up. It is through glass. The room you are in has 2 other people so privacy is not really going to happen. Or you will have someone loud and obnoxious next to you.
