Visitor Policy

Interview with Rob

JM: How often could you receive visitors?
Rob: You could have visitors once a week but its on a specific day due to the first letter of your last name

JM: Was the check-in process lengthy for those who came to see you?
Rob: I'm not really all too sure on the check in process because I did not have one visitor during my stay at muskegon county jail

JM: What was the visiting environment like?
Rob: Like I said I had never had a visitor at muskegon county jail but there was a very small room with double sided glass and booths with a phone to talk into. The space was tiny and next to other inmates and visitors visitation booths. Some people ease drop so you can't be too personal.
