Inmates

Interview with Tim

JM: Did you find it difficult to get along with other inmates? Please give examples to explain why you did or didn't.
Tim: No I did not. As I have been incarcerated before and knew how to do what and what not. Being respectful and minding my own business. besides the cell block was only for city charges.

JM: What types of things did you have to do to avoid problems or fights with other inmates?
Tim: Nothing really, just by reading many books, sleeping to pass the time. Being respectful to the other inmates, even though that is difficult in any jail situation. And having had spent too much time in and out of Prison teaches one how to "get along" with inmates and correctional officers.

JM: Were you able to choose an inmate as your cellmate if you knew one? How often would your cellmate(s) change?
Tim: No choices on who you bunked with. The cell block was an open dorm type. I was fortunate enough to get a bottom bunk without another person being assigned there.
