Meals

Interview with Hakstiff and Rebecca

JM: How many meals did you get per day?
Hakstiff: 3
Rebecca: three meals per day were given.

JM: How would you rate the food? Please give details of why.
Hakstiff: TERRIBLE
Rebecca: I would definitely rate the food a zero. It was terrible. It was disgusting. I wouldn't even feed my dog that food. I gave it a shot, and I wanted to puke. I honestly starved and just tried to fill myself up with milk and crackers. They only gave me crackers because I am diabetic and I cannot go too long without eating.

JM: Did you have any favorite/least favorite meals?
Hakstiff: NO
Rebecca: None were my favorite or least favorite. Everything was equally disgusting. It looked old, cheap, and full of chemicals. Nothing healthy.

JM: Were there any other snacks offered outside of meals? What was commissary like and how expensive was it?
Hakstiff: NO
Rebecca: From what I heard, commissary food was expensive. They will charge you an arm and a leg for snacks. I lived off crackers because they gave them to me at the nurse's office. I refused to eat and needed some type of carbs.
