JM: What types of facilities were available to help pass the time? Craig: Basketball court (inside n outside) and a track,
baseball field.. There was leagues you could
join. Baskertball and bocci was the activities i
spent time playing.. especially inthe summer so
you could be outside.. There was card and
dominos to play but those could turn into issies
fast.. I became a hot boy with a basketball in
my hand.
JM: Did you have regular access to the entertainment or was competition fierce? Give details. Craig: The day was pretty calm u just had to know the
majority schedule.. 4 tv one was for spanish and
rest was took over by the majoirty rule usually
blacks. It was usually first come first serve to
the tv but when the majority wants to wach
something it better to let the majority win.
JM: Did you have a hard time staying in shape while in jail? Craig: no, you werent allowed to work out but it was
over looked. There were no wieghts in the prison
so everything was mostly cardio
JM: How often did you get to go outside? What did you do outside if you were allowed to? If you were not allowed to go outside what could you do for exercise? Craig: yes, you had access to outside almost everyday
basketball.. I ran around the track or just did
laps around the compound just talking to a friend
JM: Did the jail offer church services? If so, what were they like and when were they held? Craig: yes didnt go. Im not sure where they were held
but there would always be someone on the yard
preaching the word
