JM: Tell us about the pre-sentencing process: Clint: I'm 1 week after I was incarcerated I
had my pre sentencing
hearing then they set out another
court date for a month later
and then again and then I sat out
there for a total of 3 months
before I was actually sentenced and
yeah I was kind of
upsetting because of the whole the
three months today satin
waited before I was actually
sentenced it was very very time
consuming and actually it was very
very depressing waiting
all that time
JM: Did you have police stop by your house for questioning? If not please give us details on how you came to be arrested. Clint: no I didn't and how I got arrested
was me and a friend were at
a friend Myers in Newberg Oregon
and we were shop lifting as
my cut it and it was coming out of
the store a customer
witnessed him with a bunch of
merchandise in his arms and
has the papers when I went out the
door and a and a
customer witnessed it and wrote
down my license plate
number and after we left Fred Meyer I
got pulled over by police
officer
JM: What was court like? Please give as many details as you recall. Clint: actually court was not very
inspirational um like I said they
kept putting it out another court date
after another court date
and as time went by I was beginning
to get my doubts that I
was even going to get out of jail
because I kept putting out the
court date so far other than that um
it was pretty simple and
not very much happened other than
the judge in my attorney
said a couple words to each other
JM: What were your original charges? What did you end up being convicted of? Clint: fast too breakfast in danger man
driving and danger in other
person
