Interview with Garrett

JM: Tell us about the pre-sentencing process:
Garrett: I was walking on the train tracks and was in possession of marijuana. A cop caught me walking on the train tracks and I was arrested. I went to jail and bailed out within a day, but I missed a court hearing later and was arrested for contempt.

JM: Did you have police stop by your house for questioning? If not please give us details on how you came to be arrested.
Garrett: See above.

JM: What was court like? Please give as many details as you recall.
Garrett: I missed court and was held in contempt.

JM: What were your original charges? What did you end up being convicted of?
Garrett: Original charges were simple possession of marijuana and trespassing.
