Interview with Lance

JM: Tell us about the pre-sentencing process:
Lance: I was brought in to addison tx jail for unpaid traffic tickets and the carrollton police came and picked me up and took me to there jail where I had to spend the night and wait for morning to see a judge but morning came and I was never allowed to see a judge just was given papers to sign and was told judge didn't want to see me

JM: Did you have police stop by your house for questioning? If not please give us details on how you came to be arrested.
Lance: no police where called because because my wife and I were having a verbal fight and someone thought our child was in danger which was not the case they decided to try and bring up tickets that had all already been taken care of and try to get more money out of me

JM: What was court like? Please give as many details as you recall.
Lance: was not in court never saw a judge nothing else to say all they had me do was sign papers and then I was released on terms that another dept was going to come get me which took 2 more days to wait for but they never came to get me

JM: What were your original charges? What did you end up being convicted of?
Lance: expired tags on my vehicle
