JM: Did you have regular access to telephones?
Tim: There was 2 phones that they had on all the time.
JM: What types of charges applied for calling people? How much money would you guess the average inmate spends per week on phone calls?
Tim: I don't remember. I only remember guys using
calling cards to make calls.
JM: Did you need to buy phone cards to call out?
Tim: You could buy cards for $20, $30 and up to $50.
JM: Did the jail screen your calls?
Tim: No.
