Interview with Matthew

JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Matthew: County blues. Basically nurse scrubs, but random sizes, and many were ripped up, filled with holes, and pocket-less.

JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Matthew: Yeah, we had a set uniform. Blues. Basically dark blue hospital scrubs.

JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Matthew: Really, just getting a pair of blues that fit you right, weren't ripped up, and still had chest pocket on the shirt.

JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Matthew: pretty sure they had to wear the same county blues. Every time I eve saw any female inmates, they were dressed down in blue like I was.
