Interview with Travis and Grant

JM: What else would you want a friend or family member to know if they have a loved one going to this jail?
Travis: I do not know what to tell them. I would avoid jail at all costs. I would try to run away or something, if only I was not afraid it would give me more jail time.
Grant: I would encourage them to write them frequently vs accepting un nescesary expensive calls and keep stamps and envelopes on their books to make it a little easier during the stay

JM: If somebody knows they will be serving time in this jail what is your advice to them?
Travis: Jail is so horrible I would try to avoid it at all costs. I would avoid it at all costs, but there's a risk to taking on the world of course in case you fail.
Grant: get themselves a program and stick to it as much as possible. stay away from gangs and jail house lawyers because they both can get you more time.And build a plan for when youre released

JM: Please list any other jail or rehab facilities you have been to.
Travis: I was at Napa State Hospital from September 25, 2012 to November 16, 2012.
Grant: west county , north county and also out of state in travis county,austin texas
