Inmates

Interview with Clarinda

JM: Did you find it difficult to get along with other inmates? Please give examples to explain why you did or didn't.
Clarinda: Inmates was not bad at all.but i also stayed to myself for the remainder of my stay.some inmates were very nice some were bitter because they did not want to be there which i completely understand

JM: What types of things did you have to do to avoid problems or fights with other inmates?
Clarinda: We went outside every other DAY to walk or play baseball with Frisbees and tennis balls.played cards watched Tv or just made conversation with my bunk mate.i also went to Bible study on Wednesday and church on Sunday morningswith inmates in my dorm every other Sunday the two dorms had to rotate Sundays

JM: Were you able to choose an inmate as your cellmate if you knew one? How often would your cellmate(s) change?
Clarinda: We was in open dorm we had to go to bunk we were assigned.only way a inmate got switched from a bunk or cell is for fighting or if they strongly did not get alone with another inmate
