Interview with Chuck and Blake

JM: How many different blocks were there?
Chuck: I think at least 9 or 10.
Blake: Besides the tier I was on at least 6 more plus segregation.

JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they?
Chuck: I think they are numbered.
Blake: I only remember administrative segregation I don't remember the names of any other housing units.

JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks?
Chuck: I'm not sure.
Blake: Violent felons were housed in one unit, misdemeanor charges in another unit, special cases were housed in administrative segregation, disciplinary cases in disciplinary segregation, inmates who needed special medical support in a medical ward.

JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks?
Chuck: I didn't see any of the blocks other than the one I was in.
Blake: There was nothing nice about jail, they didn't want inmates running in and out of different rooms so they had 1 cell empty so every one had to use that toilet, most of us slept ina side open bay because all rooms were full, no privacy no way to think by yourself.
