Interview with Chuck and Blake
JM: How long was your sentencing for?
Chuck: I wasn't sentenced because I was never
convicted.
Blake: I spent 41 days in jail until they released me.
JM: Did you spend time in a holding cell after your sentencing? If so, what was that like? If you didn't where did they they take you instead?
Chuck: Yes I did. It was crowded, with about 20 men
there. It was lockdown, hot, humid, stuffy. I
was in there for several hours.
Blake: I was never sentenced for this crime, but once
the held me on
bond I was extremely despondent and just felt
as though the
system is extremely unfair and biased towards
females.
