Interview with Sam

JM: How many different blocks were there?
Sam: I do not know how many or what the total amount of blocks are.

JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they?
Sam: The blocks were simply named with single letters from the alphabet. I believe I was in G pod, but I could be wrong.

JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks?
Sam: The block I was in had people with misdemeanors, felonies, drinking and driving, speeding over the speed limit, waiting to be transported back to the joint. There seemed to be a complete lack of classification of security risk to protect other inmates from dangerous criminals.

JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks?
Sam: There was a television on one side of our pod and another television on the other side of the pod. I was astounded at the fact that the guards had a DVD player wired to all of the tv's in all of the blocks. They would bring in their own DVDs from home to play for us all weekend.
