Medications

Interview with Dale

JM: Did you always have access to necessary medications?
Dale: Normally, unless it was a type of pain medication.

JM: How did you get your medications?
Dale: In the county jail a Registered nurse would come around with a med cart and dispense you your required meds and you would be required to take them in front of her. In prison you were put on a repeat "call-out" list to go to receive your meds

JM: What types of punishments were incurred for abuse of drugs? Did you ever witness this?
Dale: Usually, if caught with drugs or even cigarettes, you would be subject to new criminal charges and prosecuted. Yes, I did witness it on several occasions.
