Interview with Christian and Claire

JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Christian: An orange top and bottom for workers. Others wore tan.
Claire: The only clothing you are allowed to keep in this jail is your underwear. You can keep your socks ONLY if they are white. You can ONLY keep your bra if it does not have an underwire.

JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Christian: Yes, see above.
Claire: The uniform is a beige color if you are not a worker, and it has CO JAIL written across the back, the front of the shirt is V-neck and the pants are elastic waist. If you are a worker the uniforms are designed the same exact way but the color is orange.

JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Christian: Nope, everything was the same. The only difference was if you had a new uniform or an old uniform.
Claire: You do not get to pick your uniform. You are given a uniform and you have to wear what they give you.

JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Christian: The women dressed the same as the men.
Claire: everything is the same for both men and women.
