Interview with Traci and Mama

JM: How many different blocks were there?
Traci: They had several different pods each for a different purpose. The pod I was in had 9 bunks upstairs and three downstairs.
Mama: I think.9

JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they?
Traci: They were called EB1 EB2 and so forth.
Mama: EC (females) D, F, G, EA, EB, and juvenile I believe and some?

JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks?
Traci: Everybody was all mixed in together. Even the juveniles. Only time you weren't with everyone was if you were on crutches or in a wheelchair.
Mama: Based on charges & how full other pods were.

JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks?
Traci: A lot of the officers was the nice. A lot of them would sit there and talk to us and stuff. Some of the inmates knew them because they was their neighbor. The worst part was the cleanliness. There were bugs in the showers. And it was never kept clean.
Mama: I was only in one "block" or POD females and males are 100%seperated.
