JM: What types of facilities were available to help pass the time?
Tara: gym, library, ouside track to walk or run, basketball court, softball field, playing cards, board games, watching teklevision and movies, talking to other inmates, cleaning your cell, standing in lengthy lines tring to get clothes and blankets and pillows, drawing, writing letters, making telephone calls, recieving visitors and mail when it came....not much.
Greg: You can play games you had wreck yard and stuff like that where I was over in the rehab you to go outside and we can go to the shop And the shopping center we could also volunteer at the park and get a job and go to work While sleeping at the jail at night
Don: There was a law library and a regular library. Na meetings, You play bored games like monopoly but most of the time the money gets stolen to be used with card games, Mental health meetings, going out to the yard. Writing letters, the Gym and basketball. And they have a church.

JM: Did you have regular access to the entertainment or was competition fierce? Give details.
Tara: 2 televisions. over 800 inmates. You could RENTa clear tv from them. Clear, so as not to be able to hide things inside. When there was a movie, people would fight to get aplace to sit which freqyently led to arguments both physical and verbal. then security would cancel the event.
Greg: Yeah how to access to the TV but there was a lot of arguments over it was watching what and Competition every TV was pretty fierce I use you tried to watch whatever you could whenever you could And just try to stay out of his many arguments over the TV is you could
Don: Sometimes the jail is really full and there is a wait to do things like a basketball court, Or the meetings and church may be really full and there is no where to sit or stand. If its a little more empty its not to hard to get into stuff

JM: Did you have a hard time staying in shape while in jail?
Tara: no, when I wasn't in the infirmary working, I was in the gym or library. The only time I was in a cell was to sleep.
Greg: Now you can stay in shape new job pretty easily there was a good gym setup and you have plenty of time to workout and exercise
Don: No all u really do is work out. And u don't get much to eat. I was in the best shape of my life in jail

JM: How often did you get to go outside? What did you do outside if you were allowed to? If you were not allowed to go outside what could you do for exercise?
Tara: daily if you wanted to, for an hour, I believe. Play ball, sit and talk, get fresh air, sunbathe, play wall ball, write letters and journals.
Greg: Being in the rehab for the gel I can go outside everyday pretty much as much as I wanted to except for when we head count
Don: U can go outside after chow again inless u are locked down. I would just walk around the yard and smell the freash air. sometimes play ball.

JM: Did the jail offer church services? If so, what were they like and when were they held?
Tara: no, they offered na meetings, aa meetings and a generic type of Bible study. If you were christian you were set. If muslim, Jewish or any other religion, too bad for you
Greg: They didn't hold church services I could tell you when and where they were because I really didn't attend any of the services
Don: yes they did. The prison has a chapel. I liked them a lot sometimes there were guest speakers it was inspirational.
