JM: How often could you receive visitors?
Anita: twice a week unless visitation was suspended
for bad behavior. this only happened once, but i
had no.visitors
JM: Was the check-in process lengthy for those who came to see you?
Anita: no one came to see me but from.what i
understand. the.waiting was the worst part of
checking in for family. that came. to visit. an
inmate
JM: What was the visiting environment like?
Anita: visitation rooms are large communal. rooms
with phones and heavy glass separating
inmates from citizens. they are carpeted. and
the equipment was in decent working. order.
there are stainless steel stools that you sit on
which. are quite. uncomfortable, and it gets
loud when it is full on.bothw sides. making
communication. difficult.
