JM: Did you have regular access to telephones?
Mizzell: Yrs
Neil: Yes they had several phones that you could use
almost all the time.
JM: What types of charges applied for calling people? How much money would you guess the average inmate spends per week on phone calls?
Mizzell: Prepay account I say around 50 dollars
Neil: Kinda expensive. I would say $25.00 would only
last a few hours if that at all.
JM: Did you need to buy phone cards to call out?
Mizzell: No
Neil: Have to purchase phone time through a special
phone service.
JM: Did the jail screen your calls?
Mizzell: They could if they needed to
Neil: Yes. I was told they did.
