JM: Did you have regular access to telephones?
Rose: only if you had some one pay big bucks to pre paid account and then you only could cakll that one person at the rate of 2.00 a min

JM: What types of charges applied for calling people? How much money would you guess the average inmate spends per week on phone calls?
Rose: most of them didnt have prepaid account you could get a one minute courtisy call to any cell phone that had never had a call from the jail. my sister had a account set up for me to call her in wich she paid a hundren dollars for and it would let us talk for about ten min at a time at a rate of about 20.00

JM: Did you need to buy phone cards to call out?
Rose: you couldnt purchase one from the inside someone on the outside would have to set that up

JM: Did the jail screen your calls?
Rose: yes thy recorded every one at least thats what it said before connecting all calls
