JM: Did you get off early based on good behavior? Tom: no was court ordered a release date then to flex
their authority I was held till exactly one
minute before midnight just for harrasment Jessica: NO Justin D.: No Justin: no, you dont get off early for good behavior in
county jail Pat: No I didnt get off for good
behavior I had to do all my
time Sandi: I was not sentenced. I had to stay until the judge
released me because I was not bonded out.
JM: What is the most time off you can receive for good behavior? Tom: not sure i believe arizona has some type of
calculation based on several factors Jessica: in Maricopa County Jail - full custody ZERO time,
however if you are on work release or work
furlough and there is severe overcrowding you
MIGHT get out 2-3 days early Justin: you cant get time off for good behavior in
county jail Pat: I dont know not sure Sandi: N/A
JM: What types of actions do you need to avoid in order to get time off? Did you ever witness somebody losing time off for good behavior? Tom: any transgression of the rules, any other police
contact, or violations of court mandates Jessica: n/a Justin: well you can not fight.you can not get tattoos,
you can not use drugs, you can not get caught
with contraband amd you cant get caught fighting Pat: Get no write ups for
unfavioable behavior in the
jail. No I never witnessed
any one who got out early
for good behavior while I
was there Sandi: Don't get into fights. Be respectful with other
inmates and detention officers. Be courteous and
be as tolerant and patient as possible. Stay out
of situations.
