Interview with Richard

JM: How many different blocks were there?
Richard: 5 on felony side and two on misdemeanor

JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they?
Richard: blocks 1 thru 5 on felony side and they are open rooms with two man cells midemeanor has a pod for males and b pod for femails and they are just big open rooms with bunk beds showers toilets tables

JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks?
Richard: felonys in 1 thru 5 usually 4 or 5 was protective custody a pod misdemeanor and non violent felonys b pod women with any charges b pod is the only housing they have for women

JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks?
Richard: theres nothing nice about that jail the paint has names and all kinds of stuff carved in it on the felony side there is no lights in the cells hrdly any paint on the walls in the showers things written and drawn in marker on the walls the shower in block one has a hole in the wall and its just a pipe sticking out of the wall that water comes out of and the showers in a pod have black mold growing up the walls that jail is disgusting
