Interview with Brandon

JM: How many different blocks were there?
Brandon: 5 blocks. 1 reception, 3 male, and 1 female block.

JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they?
Brandon: Building 4, Building 5A and 5B, 6A and 6B, 7A and 7B, and building 8.

JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks?
Brandon: Male and female in building 4. Male only in buildings 5, 6, and 7. Females only in building 8. Building 4 was also used for disciplinary purposes. Never went to building 4.

JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks?
Brandon: West County is very clean, they take a whole day every thursday to deep clean every building. It was also nice having a key to the room and not having to worry about having my stuff stolen by another inmate. The food was horrible though. Very very bad. And the A/C worked very well.
