Find Citrus County Jail inmates...

Interview with Hugh

JM: Did you find it difficult to get along with other inmates? Please give examples to explain why you did or didn't.
Hugh: The inmates are pretty cool, but the guards are staff, not cops. This jail is run by PCA, not the County. This is an adult detention, run like a juvenile detention but for adults.

JM: What types of things did you have to do to avoid problems or fights with other inmates?
Hugh: They have grievances you can fill out. If you are having a problem with certain inmates they can move you to another section or have you work in different areas. They can make you a trustee.

JM: Were you able to choose an inmate as your cellmate if you knew one? How often would your cellmate(s) change?
Hugh: No, not at all. They put sex offenders in with people who have traffic violations.
