JM: What else would you want a friend or family member to know if they have a loved one going to this jail? Eric: Pray for their soul.
Do not make enemies i guess, be careful.
And if you have money then no problem.
Money makes the monkey dance for you.
When you have money you have everything. Dominic: There are resources for families of both the
perpetrator of the crime and the victim. The
social and emotional impact of crime is far
reaching, affecting many. Families can receive
professional counseling, court related assistance,
social services assistance and help in navigating
the criminal justice system. Carlos: I would let the family know that for a jail it is
relatively safe compared to the other facilities
which do not have an officer in the cell 24 hrs a
day and its clean. Also, would advice to put money
into their inmate account as soon as possible so
that they can get commissary the first week. They
will go hungry without it. And to go the jail
website or call the facility to find out how to
put money into phone account.
JM: If somebody knows they will be serving time in this jail what is your advice to them? Eric: Becareful with the guards they are the real croocks.
With money you get by really nice, good food, good
everything.
I have a good hearing, So kin I heard a lot of things. Dominic: When you first enter prison, you might find yourself
being primed to join a gang, or worse, you might get
their attention in a negative way. The best thing to
do is keep your head down and don’t get involved. Carlos: To mind their own business, keep to yourself and you
should be alright. If you cannot get commissary try
to get hooked up with the cleaning crew of the cell.
The officers award you with extra food for working.
JM: Please list any other jail or rehab facilities you have been to. Eric: None ever. Dominic: none Carlos: The stockade in Miami Dade and Ft Lauderdale jail
and the one in Pompano also.
