Interview with Lance
JM: Tell us about the pre-sentencing process:
Lance: I got charged with manufacturing and possession
of marijuana. I was put on probation and
violated with a dirty drug test.
JM: Did you have police stop by your house for questioning? If not please give us details on how you came to be arrested.
Lance: I was issued a warrant for having a dirty drug
test. I turned myself in after about six
months.
JM: What was court like? Please give as many details as you recall.
Lance: Court was just pretty simple. I had a lawyer
but I already knew what was coming. I was in
there for 3 months before they sent me to in
jail rehab on the third floor. I had a Private
attorney.
JM: What were your original charges? What did you end up being convicted of?
Lance: I haven't been convicted yet, because I'm on
probation. I have withheld my adjudication. So
I'm not a convicted felon this way.
